"This was a great place to start our holiday in Sao Tome. We wanted somewhere close to the airport and outside the city. Casa Luis delivered and also has a beautiful quiet garden to chill out, a pool to cool down in and clean rooms with air conditioning which makes it easier to get used to the heat in the night. The owner was really helpful, he arranged for someone to come and exchange our euros to the local dobras - and he even took care of our extra stuff when we went for a trip to Principe (only 16 kgs luggage allowed on the plane). He offered to have someone escort us to the restaurant the first day, but after understanding that the area was safe we politely declined and found our way using google maps. Thank you and we would visit again."

"House is beautiful,spacious and clean. Has everything you need for your holiday. Place is surrounded by plenty of tropical trees and plants and birds singing. Hosts are very welcoming and happy to assist with everything. I recommend Casa Augusto."

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."
"Fiquei apenas por uma noite pois foi a última noite antes da partida, mas posso dizer que fiquei surpreendida. A localização é meio escondida, apesar de muito central, e por fora a entrada mete um pouco de medo mas, ao entrar vê-se logo o pátio super agradável e as portas de vidro para o quarto que até é espaçoso. Tem boa luminosidade também. Tem uma secretária simpática, internet, mini fridge, cama grande e um espelho corpo inteiro que para as mulheres é sempre uma mais valia! O rapaz que não recebeu foi super querido, recebeu-nos tarde explicou tudo bem explicadinho e notou-se que tinham o negócio bem organizado."

"The accommodation is a little out of the way, but is an absolute winner in terms of price-performance ratio. There is nothing missing. About a 25 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the top restaurant Papa Figo. To the beach, turn left and go straight on. There is also a bank branch with an ATM on the way."

"We are a family of 6 and we spent 20 days in this 3 bedroom spacious and comfortable house with excellent facilities and everything worked well starting from the air conditioning in all of the rooms, the standby generator, kitchen appliances ie: boiler, washing machine, fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker etc, big smart TV with Netflix amazon prime in the living room. Located in the city centre and close to the shops and restaurants with easy street parking. The house also have a well maintained private front garden where residents can relax.. The house has been recently refurbished."
